About Beach House Wines

Beach House has a four acre vineyard down Mere road on GIMBLETT GRAVELS WINE GROWING DISTRICT soil growing Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and a small amount of Montepulciano.

The Beach House winery is situated within sight of the ocean, between Haumoana and Te Awanga. It is constructed of straw bales in a Mexican adobe style and set in a 2-acre garden beside a small lake. Chris Harrison, their son and his wife, Jill, run Roosters Brew House a boutique brewery on Omahu road.
